Maureen Veitch

Maureen Veitch founded Lumen Agents because she loves supporting her clients at different moments in their lives and in various workplace environments, from entry-level professionals to senior executives. She understands personal and professional transitions because she has guided hundreds of clients through them—and embraced many herself.

Maureen’s own professional background is rich and diverse, having worked extensively in financial services, wealth management, management consulting, and nonprofits. She worked in human resources at Bankers Trust for over a decade, first supporting the investment banking business and then heading the Wealth Management Group’s Human Resource Team. Later, as the founder of a retained executive search business, she recruited professionals in investment banking and asset management, from associates to Managing Directors.

With Lumen Agents, Maureen brings her open-mindedness, expertise, empathy, and entrepreneurial spirit to offer a fresh approach to the field of career advising. Guided by her EQ, Maureen works diligently to ensure her clients are confident, prepared, and able to articulate what sets them apart. She helps them become the best version of themselves.

Maureen received her B.S. in Business Management and Organizational Psychology from SUNY Geneseo and serves on the Board of Director at the Promise Project at Columbia University, a non profit dedicated to helping underserved children with learning disabilities. She is certified in Myers Briggs, The Strong Interest Inventory, and EQ-i 2.0/360.
